A resident of Saugus, Massachusetts, James “Jimmy” Festa is a seasoned public safety and security professional with 15 years of service in law enforcement and executive protection. He began his career in 2000 as an associate probation officer in the Lynn District Court in Lynn, Massachusetts. James Festa worked there for five years before joining the Salem District Court as a court officer. In these early roles gained a solid understanding of courtroom procedures, case management, and the justice system.

In June 2010, James Festa entered the Lowell Police Academy, completing rigorous training in criminal procedure and policing, defensive tactics, and emergency vehicle operation. Later that year, he joined the Peabody Police Department and went on to serve as a police officer for 13 years.

During his tenure, Mr. Festa worked to protect the citizens of West Peabody through crime prevention, community engagement, criminal investigations, and emergency response. Known for his composure under pressure, quick decision-making, and strong communication skills, he helped de-escalate many high-stress situations, provided timely emergency responses, and made multiple criminal arrests, helping to keep the community safe.

Since 2023, Mr. Festa has applied his expertise to private security as an executive protection agent with Legion Security. In this role, he safeguards high-profile clients through surveillance detection, threat mitigation, secure transportation, and armed protection. He keeps executives safe from physical harm, financial exploitation, and reputation damage.

Jimmy Festa has a degree in sociology from Merrimack College, where he was captain of the college football team for four years. He also has multiple CPR certifications.
